South Korea has been sending medical supplies to UN veterans of the Korean War around the world to help protect them against COVID-19.
Seoul's ministry of patriots and veterans affairs said Wednesday that it received a thank you letter from the U.S. secretary of veterans' affairs, Robert Wilkie,... for South Korea's recent donation of 500-thousand face masks for American veterans.
The Moon administration has also sent COVID-19 test kits to Ethiopia for its veterans, along with items like face masks and hand santizers.
The South Korean veterans ministry said it plans to send more face masks soon to other Korean War veterans from 22 countries.
