RTM's Nick Calderone has some heart-wrenching news to share about his family. Unfortunately, his 94-year-old father Fred Calderone passed away last week due to complications related to COVID-19. Nick tells us that Fred lived quite a life, which included serving aboard the USS Missouri during a historic moment in WWII.

After COVID-19 spread throughout the veterans home where Fred lived, Nick's nephew Matt had the chance to be with him during his final moments. While Matt was there, he helped close family members say goodbye to Fred through a video call. We know that it's never easy to lose a loved one, so we truly wish Nick and his family the best as they get through this difficult time.
