Color melting is a hair-dye technique that creates a seamless blend of colors. Hairdresser Meg Schipani has put her own twist on the technique. She does the technique with contrasting colors, one on the top and one on the bottom. She adds a clear shade in the middle to perfectly blend all three colors. According to Shipani, without the clear shade, the colors on the top and bottom would blend together and become muddy.
