Reference: In Washington, a man by the name of Norman sacrificed his life to express his concern about the great loss of life and the sufferings caused by the Vietnam War, said the widow of a man who last night applied fire in front of the Pentagon to the way of the beautiful Vietnamese. Mrs. Morrison added that the husband proposed with his gesture to protest against the serious military commitment of our government in this war. The young man's tragic suicide has made a deep impression on this capital. Hundreds of people attended the amazing scene. He had a girl in his arms at a time when he was about to give fire to his clothes but at the last moment he yielded to the pleas of the people present and let little Emily fall on the sidewalk saving her from a horrible death. Immediately after Norman, who had scattered gasoline over his clothes, applied fire. Some nurses who had come with an ambulance enveloped Morrison with the blankets but it was too late, the young man with very serious burns died while being transferred to the hospital.
