Bollywood Actresses Who Turned Down Famous Roles
1. Deepika Padukone :- This leading lady of bollywood rejected one of the highest grossing bollywood movies – Sultan. Deepika was the first choice for the role of Aaliya in Dhoom 3 but she rejected to be a part of this blockbuster movie. She was the first choice of Salman Khan as the leading lady in his film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo but Deepika denied to do the film. Deepika also chose not to be a part of Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan starring Shahrukh Khan. Looks like Deepika doesn’t want to work with Salman as she rejected the leading role in the movie Kick.
2. Katrina Kaif :- Sanjay Leela Bhansali first offered the role of Leela to Katrina but she chose not to be a part of the movie Ramleela. Katrina even rejected the leading role in the movie Chennai Express starring Shahrukh Khan. Ayan Mukherji’s first choice as the lead actress in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani was Katrina but she rejected the movie.
3. Anushka Sharma :- Anushka was offered the role in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamaasha but she turned down the role of Tara and Deepika got the role. She was the first choice for Baar Baar Dekho but she rejected the role of Diya. Though Anushka was the first choice for R Balki’s female lead in Ki & Ka, she chose not to be a part of it.
