A policeman was killed in violent clashes and stone pelting in Jafrabad and Maujpur areas of north-east Delhi. This martyred policeman named Ratanlal was posted in the ACP Gokulpuri office. According to a report, Ratanlal had fever when the violence was taking place. But the head constable was on duty without worrying about his health

उत्तर-पूर्वी दिल्ली के जाफराबाद और मौजपुर इलाके में हुई हिंसक झड़पों व पत्थरबाजी में एक पुलिसकर्मी की मौत हो गई. रतनलाल नाम का ये शहीद पुलिसकर्मी एसीपी गोकुलपुरी दफ्तर में तैनात थे. एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक जब हिंसा हो रही थी उस वक्त रतनलाल को बुखार था. लेकिन हेड कांस्टेबल अपने स्वास्थ्य की फिक्र किए बिना ड्यूटी पर तैनात थे
