Ever wanted to trek to hidden waterfalls, climb a volcano on a tropical island and sleep under the bright stars of the Milky Way? Rinjani Dawn Adventures is a small trekking company based on the Indonesian island of Lombok. We specialise in multi-day Mount Rinjani packages, cultural sightseeing, hikes and camping trips to Pergasingan Hill which is an Instagrammer's delight!
This video was created using footage from #ProjectLombok, a trip we helped sponsor that funded six earthquake-proof Pop-Up schools in north Lombok. The school building was coordinated by local Yayasan, Pelita Foundation Lombok, and funded by Australian NGO Classroom Of Hope. Rinjani Dawn Adventures sponsored the trekking parts of the trip, taking a group of international travellers up to Senaru Crater Rim, and Pergasingan Hill.
The incredible journey was conceived by travel journalist & blogger @Jackson Groves, the film made by the brilliant Nic Morley, and sweet tunes created by Aroop Roy, a London based musician, DJ & producer.
Rinjani Dawn Adventures will be working on a new school project in Senaru later this year, through our #sasakwarriors community program.
