Gujarat college girl students asked to remove innerwear to prove they weren’t menstruating

68 girl students of Shree Sahajanand Girls Institute (SSGI) in Gujarat’s Bhuj were reportedly asked to remove their innerwear to prove that they were not menstruating. However, the Dean said that the matter was related to the hostel and had nothing to do the university rules. “Matter is related to the hostel, it has nothing to do with University/College. Everything happened with girls' permission, nobody was forced for it. Nobody touched them. Still, the inquiry team formed to look into the matter,” said Darshana Dholakia, Dean of Shree Sahajanand Girls Institute.
