The Drunkest Day Of The Year: Rone Takes On The 2020 Mummers Parade

For a lot of America, the word Mummer probably sounds like a cutesy name someone would give their grandma. In Philadelphia, the word has a connotation all its own. The Mummers parade, an annual New Year's tradition, is one of the biggest hidden gems in America. It's a whirlwind of colors, music and dancing. And drinking. A whole lot of drinking. And while the Mummers parade might make the news with some unsavory headlines at times, there is a deep ethnocentric tradition of pageantry and showmanship that culminates with the crowning of the parade's top brigade. And did we mention that people are getting shitfaced drunk? So please, enjoy the beautiful side of the Mummers parade.

Special thanks to Tom Mullens who shot and edited, my friends Mikey Wallets and Mike Obes who helped on production, shooting, and editing and our freelance cameraman and sound guy, who all combined to make this a beautiful video.
