New Delhi, Dec 16 (ANI): Professor Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, narrated the incident that took place in the university and asserted that the police entered the campus without permission.

Speaking to ANI, Najma Akhtar said, “Students of Jamia didn't give a call for today's protest. I've been told that a call was given from colonies nearby Jamia to march towards Jullena. They clashed with police and got inside the campus after breaking the gate of the University.”

“Police couldn't differentiate between the protesters and students sitting in the library. Many students and staff were injured. There was so much ruckus that police couldn't take permission,” she further added.
