Remember the banana tape on the wall, which was sold for USD 120,000 (Rs 85,55,640), and left the Internet shocked? Well it has been eaten by a New York City-based performance artist, David Datuna and no, we are not kidding. The installation by artist Maurizio Cattelan titled 'Comedian’ was recently displayed at Art Basel exhibition in Miami Beach. The artist had bought the banana for a mere price of USD 0.30, which is Rs 21 and then sold it for a whopping amount of Rs 85 lakh.
