Now the word 'Pappu' will not be used to make fun of anyone in Parliament. In fact, 'Pappu' has also been included in the list of thousands of non-parliamentary words of Parliament. With this, it has also been said that if someone's name is Pappu in Parliament, then it will not fall under the category of non-parliamentary words. Not only this, even if a MP uses this name for himself, it will remain a part of the proceedings.

संसद में अब किसी का भी मजाक उड़ाने के लिए 'पप्पू' शब्द का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जा सकेगा. दरअसल संसद के हजारों असंसदीय शब्दों की सूची में 'पप्पू' को भी शामिल किया गया है. इसी के साथ ये भी कहा गया है कि अगर संसद में किसी का नाम पप्पू है तो वो असंसदीय शब्द की श्रेणी में नहीं आएगा. यही नहीं अगर कोई सांसद खुद के लिए इस नाम का इस्तेमाल करता है तो भी यह कार्यवाही का हिस्सा बना रहेगा. बता दें कि 16वीं लोकसभा में पप्पू शब्द का इस्तेमाल कई बार संसद में किया गया था. उस वक्त लोकसभा स्पीकर ने खुद के विवेकाधिकार से इसे हटाने का आदेश दिया, लेकिन अब इसे औपचारिक रूप से असंसदीय करार दिया गया है.
