Bobcat runs loops around chicken coop at Connecticut home trying to get bird inside
- 4 years ago
A security camera at a home in rural Connecticut caught the moment when a bobcat snuck onto the property to try and eat a chicken.
Footage caught on October 12 shows the bobcat circle the fenced off coop, before the chicken emerges and flies into a panic causing both animals to start in shock. The cat leaves after failing to seize the bird.
The owner commented: "We keep chickens and due to a feather pecking problem in our main coop, we moved the chicken in this encounter to a second coop we maintain for similar or health related issues.
"The chicken had been in this smaller coop for a couple of weeks, prior to this bobcat encounter. Karma for feather pecking?"
