Located in the #metropolis city of #Bangalore, Kempfort Shiva Temple is a #large temple built for the #Hindu deity #Shiva. Dating back to 1995, the temple was built on the sacred day of #MahaShivratri by the RMV foundation and is one of the most important #tourist attractions of the city of Bangalore.

The magnolius idol of Lord Shiva made in marble is the major attraction of the Kempfort Shiva Temple. The idol being positioned against the backdrop of Mount Kailash and artificial pool creates the perfect imagery of Lord Shiva meditating in their habitat. The Kempfort Shiva Temple is open to tourists for 24 hours. Hence, one can visit this mystical place at any time of the year and at any time of the day. On Mondays, special Shiv Aartis take place every 2 hours and the Somvaar ka Tyohar is celebrated.
