Living in cities with high air pollution equivalent to memory loss from aging 10 years

British researchers have found that living in areas polluted by high levels of fine dust could take a decade off your memory.
Scientists at Warwick University surveyed some 34-thousand British people and found that those living in heavily-polluted areas showed a significant lag in remembering words,... compared to those living in areas with cleaner air.
The difference was equivalent to aging ten years.
While there needs to be further research on how nitrogen dioxide and air particles affect human memory,... the recent study shows a strong link between the two.
