S. Korea's export prices fall on-month and on-year in September: BOK

South Korea's export prices fell in September compared to the previous month,... as the won gained ground against the greenback.
According to the Bank of Korea on Wednesday,... export price index data for last month fell point-eight percent compared to August.
The figure for September is down five percent on-year.
Import prices rose mainly on higher global oil prices,... and tech exports led by computer, electronics and optical devices fell as the Korean won strengthened against the U.S. dollar.
In particular,... export prices of semiconductors and DRAM chips dropped point-nine-percent on month.
