This is the amusing moment a protective cat curled up on a sofa with banknotes and coins, refusing its owner to take them away.

Owner Ros Maida, 22, was counting her money on a sofa in her house before her cat came and cuddled on it.

Footage filmed in Jakarta, southern Indonesia,
on September 9, shows the kitten named Boyen wrapping her paws tightly around the banknotes and pushing away Ros's hand when she tried to touch them.

Ros said: "I cannot believe she is such a greedy cat."
