Nine people killed after huge gas explosion at Chinese snack bar

A huge gas explosion at a snack bar in eastern China's Wuxi killed at least nine people and injured ten on October 13.

The dramatic CCTV video shows a snack bar suddenly exploding while pedestrians on the other side of the road fled.

The shops near the three-storey snack bar were affected. The wall, glasses, windows and air-conditioner units were damaged.

Over twenty fire engines, 105 firemen, 32 rescuers, 30 more paramedics, ambulances as well as 80 volunteers arrived on-site to help with the rescue efforts.

The rescue work has finished, nine people have died and ten were injured.
