Man-Elephant Conflict: Locals spend sleepless night at Bihali in Biswanath

Man- Elephant Conflict is on the rise in Bihali area since last couple of weeks in the Borjaroni Reserve Forest in Biswanath District.

As per reports, at around 12 mid night on Saturday a herd of wild jumbos launched an attack at 5 houses at Borjaroni village under Bihali constituency in Biswanath.

So far no casualties were reported during the incident.

Later, the forest officials reached the spot and managed to get hold of the situation.

Meanwhile, officials of the Forest Department claimed that elephants mainly entered villages in search of food.
