Disney+ Axes 'Muppets' Series.
The show had been in development since earlier this year.
Creators included Josh Gad,
Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis.
According to 'The Hollywood Reporter,' the project's cancellation was over "creative differences.".
Originally, the series was set to
be a sequel to the movie,
'Muppets Take Manhattan.'.
It was going to be called
'Muppets Live Another Day.'.
But problems arose after an executive switch at Muppets Studios.
Instead of taking the project in a different direction, Gad, Horowitz and Kitsis decided to leave altogether.
Fans of the Muppets will still have another show to look forward
to on Disney+.
'Muppets Now,' is currently scheduled to debut on the streamer
sometime next year
