Brazil strolls to friendly victory over Panama

Brazil brought down Panama, 4-0, in their penultimate friendly before hosting the World Cup. Panama took plenty of chances but could not make any clear attempts at goal. The home side took the lead in the 27th minute with Neymar’s free kick from 20 meters, and 13 minutes later, Dani Alves doubled the lead. Hulk scored the third goal, and substitute Willian concluded the scoring when he fired home from inside the penalty area. Brazil is hosting the World Cup for the first time since 1950, and they are opening the month-long tournament against Croatia on June 12. -- Mornings @ ANC, June 4, 2014.
