Hibbert powers Pacers to Game 2 win over Wizards

Indiana Pacers All-Star big man Roy Hibbert broke out of his late-season funk to power his team to an 86-82 Game 2 victory over the Washington Wizards. Hibbert dominated the paint and helped erase a three-point Wizards lead late in the fourth quarter. The All-Star center finished with a playoff-high 28 points that came with 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. He has been criticized for his poor play as of late, highlighted by a scoreless effort in Game 1 of the series. This best-of-seven match-up is now tied at a game apiece with Game 3 set to be played in Washington on Friday (Saturday morning in Manila). – ANC Dateline Philippines, May 8, 2014
