LOOK: New license plates for gov't vehicles

MANILA - The Land Transportation office is issuing new license plates for vehicles to be used by officers of government agencies and members of Congress. LTO spokesperson Jason Salvador said the new red license plates for government vehicles will have the word GOVERNMENT under the license plate number. The new protocol plates for lawmakers will have the words "16th Congress" under the number as well as the date of effectivity so that the plate can be used only when the lawmaker is still in office.
