MANILA - The government is spending at least P120,000 for the security of alleged pork scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles after she was brought to Camp Crame for a medical check-up. A radio DZMM report said an additional P3,000 will be spent for Napoles' medical tests. Elements of the Philippine National Police-Region 4, Special Action Force and the PNP Headquarters Support Service are tasked with guarding Napoles. The PNP said it had to secure the transfer from Fort Sto. Domingo in Santa Rosa, Laguna to Camp Crame in light of possible threats to the businesswoman's life. Napoles is set to undergo an transvaginal ultrasound examination and blood testing after she experienced abnormal vaginal bleeding. Napoles earlier requested to have her check up at St. Luke's Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City but this was denied by the court. RADIO DZMM, February 26, 2014
