Palami to interview coaching candidates in February

MANILA, Philippines – Azkals team manager Dan Palami is set to interview candidates for head coach to replace outgoing mentor Michael Weiss. Palami did not name the prospects, but said they have experiences with high profile clubs and hold World Cup credentials both as players and coaches. Palami will be conducting the interview in the first week of February in Dubai. The new coach will have about three months to blend with the Azkals before the nationals compete in the AFC Challenge Cup in May. They will also take part in the AFF Suzuki Cup that will take place in Singapore and Vietnam in November. Mornings @ ANC, January 16, 2014.
