How capitalism benefits from cultural nationalism

(Recorded on 8 August 2019) It's important to keep our eyes and ears open when a society and industry which marginalizes us and doesn't see our full humanity... suddenly throws us bones, and does it in a way which still benefits said society and industry. Discernment is crucial. Never be satisfied with crumbs, and remember that equity is very different from equality. Always be suspicious when society and industry chooses a specific individual or movement to fawn over at any given time; because that appreciation is fleeting and while being supported by masses of people (because... 'finally, representation!'), it's never going to be led by the masses. The masses' energy is always going to be tapped into and exploited.
