MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings under ED scanner over Rs 300 crore investment | वनइंडिया हिंदी

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) money laundering probe in Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services has found that the company's financial services arm IFIN had made new investments of about Rs 300 crore in India Cements-owned Chennai Super Kings in 2018.The probe agency is examining the reason behind the fund infusion in a cricket franchise to find out whether the transaction had certain anomalies like other borrowers in this case, said officials aware of the matter.

स्पॉट फिक्सिंग के चलते दो साल तक इंडियन प्रिमियर लीग (आईपीएल) से बैन होने के बाद चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स एक बार फिर से विवादों में घिरती दिख रही है। बिजनेस स्टैंडर्स की खबर की मानें तो प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग की जांच में गड़बड़ी पाई है। जिसमें चेन्नई सुपरकिंग्स में इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर लीजिंग एंड फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज ने 300 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश किया है।ईडी को इस बात की भनक तब लगी, जब वह आईएल एंड एफएस के लोन और निवेश की जांच कर रही थी। ईडी ने पाया कि ये निवेश विशेष निवेश श्रेणी के तहत हुआ था।
