Law, Environment and Cultural Ministries approved Tamil Nadu’s ordinance allowing Jallikattu, with minor changes. It has been sent to President Mukherjee for his assent.
However, according to media reports, the protest will not be called off until the doors that let the bull into the arena isn’t opened.
