Spike: The channel that treats adults like children even late at night because they would prefer to appease non-viewers like Parents Television Council members and FCC myrmidons, rather than trying to satisfy the wishes of their actual viewers, presumably mostly young straight males who not only abhor censorship, but who now, in the 21st century, are not generally accustomed to content being censored anyway, thanks to the internet.
And yet Spike continues to abide by pre-NYPD Blue content standards, despite the fact that they are not held to any government restrictions on content!
Why are they trying to please the puritans among us who would regulate and censor what we are allowed to watch, rather than trying to appeal to us, the actual viewers?
