A 13-year-old boy was attacked at a Montana county fair for leaving his hat on during the national anthem.
Curt James Brockway was arrested after the assault,
which he justified due to the boy’s "disrespect of the national anthem.".
Brockway was already a registered violent offender for a 2010 incident involving a weapon. .
The unnamed victim reportedly began seizing on the ground, with a witness saying he was also “bleeding out of his ears.”.
The teenager was airlifted to Spokane, Washington
where he received treatment and is now recovering
at home in Montana.
