Bang Niang village is a short trip of only a few minutes from the Khao Lak centre. It is the most active of the 8 villages that comprise the Khao Lak region. There are dozens of restaurants to eat at, a major market that opens 4 days a week, many bars and music venues to enjoy, several massage parlors to get those taut muscles kneaded, as well as a variety of shops. Every now-and-then, a vision of a more sublime nature is seen. This lady was running along a Bang Niang back-street pushing her baby in a pram, while her young son was making the pace at the front. A motorcycle with a driver and a pillion passenger scooted by. Ordinary, for sure, but none the less captivating.
