Police have placed a travel ban on an unnamed official, who is being investigated over the recent controversy surrounding footballer Cristiano Ronaldo's absence from an exhibition match.
In a press briefing earlier today, Seoul police didn't say which organization the official was affiliated with.
They also told reporters that two other officials from Korea's top football league governing body have also been questioned over the matter.
Local football fans were enraged last month when Ronaldo stayed on the bench for the match against the K-League All-Stars in Seoul, citing muscle fatigue.
The K-League said the Juventus forward was contractually obligated to play at least 45 minutes and requested an apology from the Italian club.
A South Korean attorney last week filed fraud charges against Juventus,... and the Korean marketing firm that organised the match.
