Jakarta had the worst air quality among major cities this Monday afternoon... followed by Dubai in the UAE and Uzbekistan's Tashkent.
Air Visual, a global air quality research site shows real-time data of air pollution in 87 major cities around the world.
Jakarta had an Air Quality Index or AQI of 176 as of 4PM Monday.
For South Korea, Busan ranked 40th with an AQI of 55 and Seoul ranked 58th with an AQI of 43.
The Air Quality Index is calculated based on six air pollutants including ultrafine dust, fine dust, nitrogen dioxide, and ozone.
An AQI below 50 is considered good and above 151 is harmful to health.
