The following waffles may look inconspicuous, but looks have always been deceiving. One bite, and you'll marvel at the flavor-packed complexity!

You'll Need:

- 14 oz potatoes
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp chives
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 4 slices cheddar cheese

Here's How:

1. Peel and cut the potatoes and boil for 15 minutes.

2. Fry the bacon in a pan until brown and crispy.

3. Mash the cooked potatoes with a fork and add the flour, baking powder, egg, milk, and chives. Mix well.

4. Grease a waffle iron with melted butter, and add the potato mixture. Place a slice of cheese and two strips of bacon on top. Hide the cheese and bacon under a layer of potatoes, close the iron, and cook until golden-brown.
