Pete Buttigieg: Men Need To Stand For Abortion Rights

LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y. ― Pete Buttigieg, mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and a 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful, said during a campaign event Wednesday that men need to do more to defend women’s reproductive rights. “I think it’s particularly important from a political stance for men to stand up,“ he said. “First, it’s the right thing to do. Second, because whenever somebody’s freedom is being suppressed, you never know if you’re going to be next.”
