S. Korea 12th in world for GDP, 30th in world for GNI per capita

South Korea's gross domestic product in 2018 remained the 12th largest in the world, the same position as the previous year.
According to the World Bank, South Korea's GDP for last year was 1-trillion 6-hundred-19-billion U.S. dollars.
The U.S. had the highest GDP at more than 20 trillion dollars, followed by China, Japan, and Germany.
South Korea moved up one spot to 30th for gross national income per capita in 2018, with 30-thousand 600 dollars per capita.
First on the GNI ranking was Switzerland, followed by Norway, the Isle of Man and Macao.
