Thousands took to the streets of Tbilisi, Georgia to protest against Russian lawmaker Sergei Gavrilov's visit.

Filmed on Friday (June 21), protesters can be seen wearing face masks to protect themselves from the tear gas that can be seen in the distance.

Around 240 people were injured in clashes as protesters attempted to storm parliament after Gavrilov took the speaker's seat.
