hi Meg, you need to do yourself a favor and find a boy friend and that what will reileve you girl. And by the way your friend is a bithch, she knows for a fact what you feel and she still getting her asshole around.
Sometimes romantic, or the Greek word "agape," love takes priority over friendship or "philia" love. Generally, marital love (agape and eros) triumphs over other forms of love, e.g. platonic. Ask yourself, "Am I being selfish with this expectation of her?" Maybe your girlfriend more committed to her boyfriend than she is committed to you and the friendship between you two. Maybe, despite being friends longer than her and her boyfriend, the relationship with her boyfriend takes priority over you, and after all, a longer duration does not necessarily mean stronger. Maybe, your boyfriend is more important to you than some of your other friends and/or family, and if given a choice, perhaps you would not want to leave him home either while you go out to a friend's house.
