Fan Fest in Kaiserslautern

It was a short day and a long night. In the Brauhaus Am Markt, next to the Stiftsplatz, I meet Thomas. I buy him a beer and suddenly his friends become my friends and he's painting Casey and myself.
Later that evening, Casey and I get on the wrong train. Once we regain consciousness, we are in Pirmasens, a 40 euro cab ride from Landstuhl. Armed with only my bank card, we search for warmth and find it. There is one restaurant open at 4am. Champagne is 250 Euro. We move on.
Sadly, I make the mistake of putting a girl I like on this train two nights later.
