An artist in Taiwan has created a giant balloon depicting the iconic image of the Tiananmen Square “Tank Man”. The inflatable artwork was set up in front of Taiwan’s Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The display recalls the moment on June 4, 1989, when a man stood in front of a column of tanks during the Tiananmen Square crackdown on protesters in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
