Student of the Year 2 is often seen being compared with its initial part in aspect of story, actors, costume etc. So with this comparison Ananya Pandey revealed that she follows Alia Bhatt who debuted from SOTY in one of her interviews.
Ananya said - "I look up to Alia so much. She has always been my idol. When she came in with ‘Student of the year’ she was raw and fresh and people saw her grow. I’ve been inspired by her growth". Not just this Ananya also said that her character from the film matches her real life personality who is like a fighter and go-getter, and many girls would definitely look upto her character & will relate.
Further on her upcoming comedy film ‘Pati PAtni aur Woh’ Ananya said – ‘ She’s excited about the film. And she has seen her father Chunky Pandey in comedy do really well, and that she knows she will have to match upto that legacy. And in this film she is playing a role of someone who is actually elder to her in real life, which really sounds interesting to her’.
