Sri Lanka’s normally buzzing nightlife silenced by Easter bombing attacks

Sri Lanka continues to struggle to recover following the Easter Sunday bombings on April 21, 2019, which killed more than 250 people.    Evidence of the extended impact of the deadly attacks on churches and hotels around the country can be seen in the capital Colombo, where restaurants and bars are empty in what had been a lively and buzzing nightlife district.
