Government to create committee to coordinate youth-related policies

The South Korean government will establish a committee presided by the Prime Minister's Office to overlook youth-related policies.
The decision was reached during a meeting on Thursday between the ruling Democratic Party,... the government and the presidential office.
The three sides will also be making individual efforts... by creating separate bodies solely dedicated to working on youth-related matters... and plan to encourage young people to participate with coming up with relevant policies.
The ruling party also said it will seek cooperation from the opposition bloc to swiftly pass youth-related laws,... and vowed to boost next year's budget to deal with youth-related issues.
