Ministry of SMEs and Startups chooses 200 firms as global SMEs of 2019

Two hundred local small and mid-sized firms have been chosen as the global SMEs of the year.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said they were chosen after three rounds of review that included evaluations from outside experts.
Their average sales were 23 million U.S. dollars, with a three-year average growth rate of near 24 percent.
The Ministry has chosen such companies since 2011 to help local firms expand their operations abroad.
The 200 firms will be given customized support, including financing and marketing support by the Ministry as well as local governments and private financial institutions over the next four years.
