Grammy winning folk musician Jewel married her longtime boyfriend, rodeo star Ty Murray, earlier this summer in a very, very intimate ceremony on a beach in the Bahamas. It was so intimate, in fact, that there were only two guests who saw the couple get hitched. Jason Freese, Jewel's former keyboard player, married the couple after becoming ordained online, and his wife was the only other witness at their intimate wedding in a cabana at the Atlantis Resort. Jewel looked gorgeous in a strapless wedding gown designed by Monique Lhullier, and Murray projected a casual cool by wearing jeans and cowboy boots. The couple didn't make a big deal of their pre-wedding plans, because they wanted to elope in the tropical and romantic evening ceremony. And if you've ever dreamed of getting hitched in the Bahamas or any other exotic location, maybe following the “Who Will Save Your Soul” singer's lead and eloping is the way to go. You won't have to spend all the money on a big ceremony and reception for a destination wedding, but you can still exchange vows in your dream location. And if your family really wants to help you celebrate, you can always throw a local reception when you return home from your intimate and exotic elopement and honeymoon.
