Ling Gesar is not only the longest epic in the world, describing the glorious deeds of the Tibetan king Gesar, who came from the god's realm to bring the peace and the Dharma in this world. Ling Gesar is also the powerful buddhist practice, including prayers, offerings and sacred dances. The dance I present you today is called "Lingdro dechen rolmo". This dance is a practice of self-liberation in the highest dzogchen tantra way. It was transmitted by Khenpo Jigme Phuntsok, the founder of Serta Larung buddhist settlement in Tibet, according to the teaching of the great buddhist master Mipham Rinpoche, the root lama of Ling Gesar's buddhist practice.
