Professor Brian Cox on the survival of the human race

The professor of particle physics is optimistic about the survival of the human race thanks to advances in private space flight. It comes after Elon Musk’s SpaceX capsule became the first commercial spacecraft to dock at the International Space Station on March 3. He believes if humans can become a spacefaring civilisation and colonise other planets, we can effectively become immortal.
Speaking ahead of his June 5 Universal World Tour show in Hong Kong, Cox says he would love to see an international mission to Mars, if money was no object.
