Salman Khan acquitted of all charges in 2002 hit-and-run case

Finally the sword that hung over the head of Salman Khan for the last 13 years recedes. The Bombay High Court has declared that evidence against the actor in the 2012 Hit-and-Run case. Was not substantive for a conviction. Nor did it prove beyond doubt that Salman was driving under the influence of alcohol, and killed a man under its wheels. With faulty investigations marring the case. Mere suspicion was not enough to convict Salman. He now walks a free man.
