Two Armymen, two militants killed in Handwara gunfight

Srinagar: Two Army jawans and two militants were killed in a fierce gunfight-that is still under way- in north Kashmir’s frontier Kupwara district.
The encounter erupted in Laribal Rajwar Handwara forests, nearly 95 kms from here when a joint search operation was launched by the Army’s 21 Rashtriya Rifles battalion and the police after a tip off about the presence of militants in the area late last evening.
