Salman Khan must retract his comments on Yakub Memon, says Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray
  • 5 years ago
Salman Khan, who has already been battling a lot of legal trouble for a very long time now, seems to have gotten himself in yet another one. This time not for doing

something against the law, but for speaking out against the law. The actor took to Twitter this morning to speak up in defence of the 1993 Mumbai blasts accused, Yakub

Memon. The actor put out a series of tweets talking about Yakub’s innocence and urging that killing him is killing humanity. This hasn’t gone down too well with the

public and the political parties and the actor is now being slammed for making such remarks.

The Bhartiya Janta Party, collectively, feels offended by Salman’s remarks. The party now wants Khan to retract his comments on the issue. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav

Thackeray, even went on to say, “Is he (Salman Khan) questioning the court? Is he saying the court is wrong?”
